Florida Senior Day partners and seniors from across the state are invited to join us for a reception to honor and recognize partners, volunteers and advocates from across Florida. We are excited to present the inaugural Claude Pepper Award for Advocacy in Aging at the Reception. The Claude Pepper Award for Advocacy in Aging will be presented by the Claude Pepper Center and Claude Pepper Foundation to a Florida policy maker who has made significant statewide contributions to policies, programs and services for older Floridians. Just as Claude Pepper was a leader in the area of advocacy on behalf of Florida seniors, the individual selected to receive this award has demonstrated throughout their career the vision, advocacy and leadership needed to make a significant impact on the lives of Florida seniors.
